William Elwood Loeber, 73, passed away May 7, 2014 at his home in Canon City. He was born June 16, 1940 to Elwood and Evelyn (Meyerhofer) Loeber at Aurora, Illinois. William married Phylis Beaver who preceded him in death and to their union were born four sons. He owned and operated Loeber construction before retiring. He was an avid fisherman, loved being in the outdoors and was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his sons, William, Jeffrey, Brian and Travis Loeber; siblings, Arlene (Howard) Purcel, Elwood Loeber and Linda (John) Gilbert. He was preceded by his parents, and siblings, Edward, Marilyn and Durwood.
