Eddie Carmichael of Fort Walton Beach, FL passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 16 in Fort Walton Beach at the age of 66.
Eddie was born on May 26, 1941 in Columbus, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen McDaniel and stepfather, Aubrey McDaniel and brother, Donald Carmichael.
Eddie has lived in the Panhandle area for most of his life. He worked in law enforcement for over twenty years and then moved into the private investigative field as owner of Advanced Investigations, Inc. He was a loyal charter member of Fraternal Order of Eagle’s #4045 for twenty-one years. He was also a lifetime member of the NRA.
Eddie was a kind man and loving, husband, father and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Diane; three sons, Kevin (Yvonne), Darin (Dina) and Shannon (Lisa); two grandchildren, Cody and Jessica.
