William passed away suddenly at peace on Monday, October 22, 2018 at the age of 47. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Debra. William is survived by his twin brother, John F. Smith and sister-in-law, Carrie; nephew, Zane; nieces, Kelsey and Samantha, all of Corpus Christi, TX.
William will be most remembered for his love of life and dedication to his country. Serving honorably as a combat veteran in the United States Navy, William went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Monmouth University, graduating with the distinction of Magna Cum Laude. William continued to serve his country the rest of his life as a logistics agent with the Department of Defense.
An intimate celebration of William’s life was held at his home in Haddon Township, NJ for family, friends and colleagues. William along with his beloved wife will be laid to rest with full military honors at the Coastal Bend State Veteran’s Cemetery in Corpus Christi, TX.
