William E. MacKenzie, 85 of Naples, FL died on Thursday June 7, 2012 at North Collier Hospital, Naples, FL. Born in Newark, NJ he lived in Columbus, NJ before moving to Naples 19 years ago. He served In the United States Air Force during WWII and the United States Navy during the Korean War.
His service is recorded at the Navy Memorial in Washington D.C. William worked as an Engineer for Bristol-Myers Squibb in Lawrenceville, NJ. He was a member of the VFW in Clifton, NJ and the American Legion in Naples, FL. He is preceded in death by his son Michael Kerry MacKenzie in 1998, his brother John and sister Myra.
Surviving is his wife of 46 years Margaret MacKenzie, daughter Candace Rollins and her husband John of Washington D.C. and three grandchildren Jessica and her husband Neil Jackson, Hope and Mariah Rollins. His sister Joan Roth and his mother-in-law Margaret Parlapiano.
