William E. Cahill “Gene” of Burlington Township passed away at Penn Presbyterian on Monday at the age of 82. He served his country honorably in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a devoted Catholic and lifelong parishioner of St. Paul’s RC Church in Burlington. He belonged to the Roma Club in Burlington, enjoyed going to shore and fishing.
He gave of his heart helping to feed the needy and underprivileged. He will forever be remembered as being a devoted family man. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years June, father of 13 children: 8 sons, 5 daughters; 31 grandchildren; 12 great-grandkids and a sister.
He was preceded in death by his son John and 4 siblings.
