William “Bill” Matthies, age 78 of Cleveland, Oh. and Philadelphia, Pa., passed away November 14, 2020 after an 18 month battle with lung cancer.Survived by wife Mary L. Forte; his daughters Nicole Cline and Lesli Davis; son in law Brian Davis; his three grandson’s Kenneth Cline, Timothy and Jacob Davis; and his brother Bruce loved life to the fullest, a loving husband, father and brother and a cherished dear friend to many. He loved to entertain and cook, be surrounded by family and friends and passionate about restoring muscle cars, watching football and playing golf.
