William D. (Don) Rees, of Greenwood, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018. He was born on February 22, 1929 in Topeka, KA. His parents were William Alpheus Rees and Reba Janet Rees.
He was married to Rita M. Rees. Don worked for Reel Pipe and Valve for more than 36 years. He retired on December 29, 1993. He was a very good singer. He enjoyed listening to classical music. He was an animal lover. Everyone who knew him, said he had one of the kindest hearts. He was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Don is survived by his four children, Greg (Laurie) Rees of Greenwood, Angela (Richard) Johnston of Bedford, Doug Rees of Greenwood, and Brion Rees of Crawfordsville; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Don was preceded in death by his wife, Rita; his brothers and sisters, and a grandson.
