Bill Thornock, our beloved father, brother, son and grandfather passed away on November 28th, 2022. While his death was unexpected, we are forever grateful that he was enjoying the outdoors with his love.
Bill was born in Kennewick, WA on April 23rd, 1962. He was 60 years old, a content resident of Boise, ID when he passed away.
From the age of 10, he was tasked with supporting his siblings and mother. Although he was so young, he took care of his family with grace and wisdom, showing an extreme amount of maturity. He held great pride and kindness in his endeavors to care for his family. In doing so, he developed an extraordinary talent that made him a successful leader in every role he took on in life. His decorated careers at Airgas, Micron and other places of employment speak volumes to his complete dedication to being a successful and caring leader.
Bill had a slew of passions that he pursued. He was an avid outdoorsman. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and ATV riding with his family and friends. He also was an accomplished body builder. Anyone who knew Bill, knew that staying in shape and being physically fit was a top priority for him. Bill enjoyed classic car renovation, and was quite skilled at the trade. Many cars he renovated were displayed in the Boise Roadster Show.
At the age of 27, Bill fathered his eldest child, Billy. He later fathered his youngest child, Jessica, at the age of 41. Bill was a wonderful father to both of his children. Bill enjoyed taking his children outdoors to hunt, fish, snowmobile, ride ATVs and so much more. He loved actively participating in events in his children’s lives. He raised them with good, strong values and led them both to be outstanding adults. Bill undoubtedly showed his children how powerful the love of a father can be.
Bill set a high standard for decency and kindness. He cared so deeply for those who surrounded his life and had an immense impact on all those he came into contact with.
Bill is survived by his two children, his four siblings, mother, father, granddaughter and fiancé Lisandra. He will be loved and missed by all.
