William Dean “Bill” Adams of Edgewater Park, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on July 24, 2021 at the age of 72. He always had a beaming smile on his face and if you were fortunate enough to talk with him, he possessed the ability to make you feel like the most important person in the world. Bill was a longtime area resident who was a very warm, kind, loving, outgoing and engaging person. Bill was a printer professionally for most of his working career.

After Bill’s printing career came to a close, he pursued several new ventures. He attended a culinary arts program and continued his passion for food, creating meals for his family and friends.  He was also the owner of his own livery service, became a private chauffeur, founded the ground transportation division for AAA card member services, and became the face of the Ultimate Chauffeur video series for the Modern Technology Group. Bill then followed his lifelong passion of searching for forgotten “Old Time Americana” treasures.

He traveled the country hunting down these treasures of “Yesteryear” which enabled him to befriend many extraordinary people which enriched his life as much as he did theirs. These adventures took him to old theaters, diners, amusement parks, sideshow attractions, old churches, and many other fascinating places.  One of his favorite things to collect and hunt for were Carousel Horses, Neon signs and vintage nostalgic pieces.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sons: William M. (Stephanie) Adams, Brian Adams; grandchildren: Nicholas Dean Adams, Michaela Dawn Adams; brother Phillip (Michele) Adams; and his loving aunt, nieces, nephews, cousins and his many friends he made along his way.
