David passed away peacefully January 8, 2013 at his sister’s home. David was born and raised in Ogden, Utah.
He graduated from Ogden High School and attended Maharishi International University in Fairfield, Iowa, where he studied the art of cinematography. David loved music and was naturally artistic. He had a keen sense of humor and surprised many of us with his talent for composing beautiful poetry. He inherited a gentle nature from his father, who preceded him in death.
David is survived by his mother, Carol McLatchie; sister, Kathryn Miano; many wonderful cousins and a devoted troop of childhood friends. David was a quiet man and a devotee of Transcendental Meditation, which eased the harshness that the world often dealt his gentle soul. He will be greatly missed.
