Bill was born In Terre Haute, Indiana to William E Lutz and Frances E (Horn) Lutz. He attended and graduated from Wiley High School and Indiana State Teacher’s College.
After leaving the military, Bill married Beverly M Huppert in 1952 and fathered three children: David was born 1953, and twins Rebecca Ann and Mary Beth, 1954.
Bill was preceded in death by wife Beverly and son David. Surviving are daughters Rebecca Creasey (Carl), Mary Beth Mowrey (Phil), Grandchildren Jacob Wright (wife Melissa), David Wright (fiancée Phoebe), Hannah Mowrey (life partner Raphael), Sarah Bigham (husband Jon), Michael Lutz, and Aaron Lutz. Great-grandchildren Alex Bigham, Michael Contreras, Ava Wright, Jaxon Wright.
The family extends their thanks and gratitude for the kindness and compassion of his many caregivers in his final days.
