William Danford King, 76, of Lexington passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014 at his residence.
Born July 22, 1937 in Nash County, NC, he was the son of the late Cora Keene and Offie King.
A follower of the Baptist faith, William enjoyed fishing and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Freddie, Jeff, and Junior King; sisters, Addie Glover and Dorothy Strickland.
Those left to cherish his memory are wife, Bonnie King of Lexington, NC, whom he married on July 16, 1960; son, Rex King of Shallotte, NC; daughter, Rhonda King of Lexington; sister, Betty Prince of Lexington; grandchildren, Ashley Nelson, Jeremy King, Casey King, Rilynn King; great-grandchildren, Triston King, Selicity King, Jett Nelson.
