William Douglas “Bill” Hebeisen died on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the age of 73, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Mr. Hebeisen received his education from the Tulane University School of Architecture and was licensed both as an architect and as an interior designer. He was a professional member of the American Institute of Architects, the Institute of Business Designers, and the Construction Specifications Institute. For over 40 years, his award winning architectural firm, Hebeisen Architects Inc., designed commercial interior projects for major oil and gas companies,
premier law firms, national accounting firms, brokerage firms, and banks.
Mr. Hebeisen was very active in Carnival and Mardi Gras, and was a member of the Krewe of Bacchus for over 30 years, as well as other non-parading krewes. Another pastime for many years was driving and entering in classic car shows his 1957 Thunderbird. He was also known for hosting large parties with live bands to the delight of his family and friends. He always considered his daughters and granddaughters his very special legacies.
