Norwich – William “Bud” D. Moran, 70 of Crouch Ave., died Friday evening June 12, 2015 at the Backus Hospital. Born in Norwich on January 1, 1945, he was the loving son of the late Robert H. Moran, Sr. and Emma Mae (Mauser) Moran.
Mr. Moran was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Vietnam War and was employed at United Nuclear for many years.
Bud loved motorcycles and when he returned from the military he drove his motorcycle across the United States.
Surviving is a brother Robert Moran and his wife Cindy of Griswold; two sisters Claire O’Neil of E. Hampton and Barbara Korenkiewicz of Mystic; a devoted friend Jim Hart of Norwich; and several dear nieces and nephews.
