Details: William “Bill” C. Waldecker, Jr., 80, a 55 year resident of Pasadena and formerly of Baltimore, died on June 14, 2009 at his residence. He was born on January 8, 1929 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late William C., Sr. and Freida Waldecker. Mr. Waldecker was an inspector for BG&E retiring in 1991 after over 35 years of service. He was a member of Our Lady of the Chesapeake Catholic Church, the Lake Shore, Stoney Creek, & Roland Terrace Democratic Clubs. He was voted Mr. Democrat in 2002. Mr. Waldecker served on the Democratic Central Committee for 4 terms totaling 16 years during the 80’s and 90’s where he held the position of Chairman for 4 years. He was also the president of the Lake Shore Democratic Club and the Curtis Bay Athletic Club during the mid 90’s. Mr. Waldecker enjoyed politics. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Frances E. Waldecker, his son William C. Waldecker III of Pasadena, his daughters Cathy Jester of Pasadena and Dorothy Sandusky of Pasadena, his brother Fritz Waldecker of DE, his sisters Mary Germuth of Glen Burnie, Patricia Finley of PA, and Geraldine Braatz of Beltsville, 6 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Mr. Waldecker is preceded in death by his parents Freida & William C. Waldecker, Sr., and his sisters Frieda Eikenberg, Marion Burkhardt and Carolyn Strumsky.
