He was born January 28, 1947 in Painesville, OH; son of the late William McAdoo and Fern Lovie Baxter Reed.
William is survived by his loving wife, of 47 years, Sharon Sue Welch Reed; one daughter, Cynthia Sargent of Virginia; two sons, William C. Reed, Jr. and wife Rhonda, Ron Reed and wife Sheila all of Clarksburg; one sister, Kathy Gooden and husband Bob of FL; one brother, Johnnny Reed and wife Lillian of AZ; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren. William was preceded in death one brother, Carl Reed.
