Brendan enjoyed playing all instruments with strings. Brendan was one of the youngest members of the NC Bluegrass Association. In recent years he found his passion in repairing, upgrading, and designing string instruments leading him to many opportunities to study under several prominent Luthiers around North Carolina and Nashville, Tennessee. Working as a Luthier became his 2nd love, to his son Sterling.

Brendan loved without fault and cared deeply for anyone that needed a friend. He could not have been more proud and eager to share his recent acceptance of Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, baptized September 19th, 2021.

The struggle with addiction is a fight for life, the fight for sobriety only ends in death. Those who struggle with addition do not have a choice, they have a battle that cannot be fought alone. A battle that doesn’t end even when they look to be living their best life.

Brendan was able to give one of the greatest gifts of all by being an organ donor.
