William “Billy” Harrison Walker, 47, of Newnan passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021, in an automobile accident.
Billy was born on August 29, 1973, in Newnan to James Nolen Walker and Elizabeth Woods Walker. Billy grew up in Newnan and graduated from Newnan High School in 1991. Billy and his family are longtime members of Liberty Christian Church. After high school, Billy worked as a diesel mechanic for many years. He followed his passion and obtained a degree in Graphic Design from West Georgia Technical College. Billy was an avid sports fan and especially loved the Georgia Bulldogs. He was thrilled when his nieces, Megan and Caroline, became students at UGA. Another hobby that Billy’s favorite was fishing. He was happiest sitting at the lake and waiting for his next big catch.
Billy loved his family and friends deeply, and his smile and laugh made everyone happy. Billy was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend, and he will truly be missed.
