William (Bill) Thompson, 82, passed away at his home in Viera, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. Bill is survived by his wife Cindy, with whom he shared 42 years of love and adventures.
Bill was a retired Police Sergeant from the South Plainfield Police Department (SPPD), in South Plainfield, NJ.
After retirement from the SPPD, Bill and Cindy moved to Florida. Bill accepted a part-time position as a Starter at Turtle Creek Golf Club in Rockledge, FL, where he remained for a number of years.
Bill was also an avid muscle car enthusiast and he enjoyed his Corvettes and Mustangs (Shelby and Roush), immensely.
