William “Bill” Patrick LeForgee, Jr., 76, of Flemingsburg, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022, at UK Medical Center.
Born in Mason County on January 7, 1946, he was the son of the late William P. LeForgee and the late Mary E. DeLong LeForgee.
Bill worked for the Kentucky State Highway Department in the construction division for 30-plus years. He enjoyed farming with his family and surveying. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He attended the Poplar Plains United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his two sisters, Mariem LeForgee White of Batavia, Ohio and J. Willas Gray and husband Norman of Flemingsburg; his niece, Oneida Carol Gray Souder and husband Rick of Flemingsburg; his nephew, Carl William White and wife Ashley of Batavia; his four great nieces, Madison Sloane Souder, Riley Elizabeth Souder, Nora Evangeline White, and Quinn Rose White; his great nephew, William Lincoln White; and his faithful cat, Dee Dee, always at his side.
In addition to his parents William and Mary, he was preceded in death by his uncle, Jessie Lee LeForgee; his great-niece, Elizabeth Helen White; and his brother-in-law, Alan White.
