William Miller (Bill) Taff, of Lookout Mountain, was born in Chattanooga in 1923 to Euda Miller Taff and Otis Drake Taff, passed away September 29, 2012. graduated The Baylor School in 1941, and served as its Alumni Association President 1960 and 1976. During World War II, Taff served in the Army and in subsequent years as a reservist as a commissioned Second Lieutenant until 1954. After the war, he enrolled at University of Chattanooga, where he received a B.B.A.. joined his uncle E. Frank Miller at wholesaler Chattanooga Paper and Woodenware Company (CPW) in 1948.
