Muncie-William (Bill) Lyons was called home to be with the Lord on July 9, 2010 after succumbing to ailing health. He was born in Muncie, Indiana on February 17, 1928 and was a lifelong resident of Muncie.
Bill was a loving husband, father of four children, several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren in and around Muncie and the Indianapolis area.
He was the son of Ruth and Art Lyons of Muncie, Indiana. Bill graduated from Muncie Central High School and retired from Warner Gear after 43 years.
Bill’s family and friends will miss his sense of humor, wisdom, kindness, and love.
Bill is survived by his wife of 44years, Ivis Lyons, as well as two daughters, Beth and Marianne. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Artie and Glen.
