William “Bill” Hall, 84, of Haw River died at Danville Regional Medical Center on Sunday, January 15, 2017.
A native of Alamance County he was the husband of the late Delois Morris Hall and the son of Luther David Hall and Flossie Murray Hall, both deceased. Bill was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a mechanic with Richard Childress Racing. Bill also enjoyed racing for Alton Bowman at Ace Speedway in car #33.
He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Hall Cashion; a grandson, Jeremy Cashion and wife Terra; a granddaughter, Stephanie Godwin; a brother, Wayne Hall; three sisters, Bernice Carroll, Margaret Florence, and Libby Dunovin; and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Luther Hall and Buck Hall.
