***************************REMEMBER WHEN!there were no real and rods to fish with,we all used a cane pole or if we really got fancy we had a bamboo fishing always new when some one was fishing they would tie their poles to the door handles of their we didn’t have bobbers,we had corks that were actually made out of cork, and if you were real poor you would tie a stick on your line.Hardly anybody had a boat, man that would have been high the good old days…………………….

William E. (Bill) Luttrell, passed away from this life on Tuesday, May 9th, 2017, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on his homestead in Waldron, Arkansas on November 13, 1942. He was a former Marine, former Chief of Police of Waldron, Justice of the Peace, Quorum Court member, and most recently, bus driver for the Waldron Public School System.

Bill loved his family, sitting outside listening to whippoorwills, thrift shopping, gardening, dancing, listening to music, serving his community, and model trains. When he was younger, he loved camping and traveling. He was an avid model train collector and was once featured on the local news. He was kind to all he met and had a heart for those less fortunate. He also loved driving his school bus route because he got to see all the children’s smiling faces.

His mother passed away when he was very young and he was raised by his grandparents and his two special aunts, Barbara Huston and Betty Jo Lee. He liked to tell stories of his upbringing and always talked about how his life would have been vastly different without their influence in his life.
