William “Bill” Duane, 67, of Bethlehem Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 11, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was the loving husband of Jane (Mattes) Duane, with whom he would have shared 42 years of marriage in September. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late William M. and Elizabeth (Varner) Duane. Bill was a gradate of Wilson High School, class of 1970. He worked for the United States Postal Service for 33 years as a Mail Carrier. Bill was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bethlehem, and the North End Wanderers Athletic Association. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and was an avid Philadelphia Sports fan.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Jane, he will be remembered by his sons William “Bill” Duane and his wife Amanda of Wilson and Brian Duane of Easton; brother Barry Duane of Wilson and his loving grandchildren Alexandra, Aiden and Tias.
