Bill was born August 18, 1947 in Chariton, IA to William and Dorothy (Shore) Garrington. Bill graduated from Chariton High School. He met his future wife, Sharon (Asmus) Garrington. They were married March 16, 1968 in Osceola, IA.
Bill loved to fish, hunt and camp with his family and friends. He was a very caring person with a huge heart. His greatest joy was his 5 grandsons who he loved very much and who loved him very much.
Bill passed away January 12, 2015 at home in Des Moines, IA. He was preceded in death by his father, William Garrington Sr. and beloved nephew Noah Richard Garrington.
