Mr. Ferguson died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in a Temple hospital. Mr. Ferguson was born, May 2, 1934 in San Antonio, TX, the son of William David Ferguson Sr. and Ruby (Rogers) Ferguson. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He married Mary Olena Goynes, August 25, 1967 in Victoria,TX.
He was a member of the Sheet Metal Local 67 for 46 years. After retiring 8 years ago he and his wife retired to Temple from Leander. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church. More than anything he loved his wife and family. He could build or fix anything from building a home to fixing a grandchild’s toy.
Survivors include his wife Mary Olena Ferguson of Temple; two sons William D. Ferguson of Leander and Jerald Lynn Ferguson of Johnson City and one daughter Rene Faubion of Zephyr; one brother Jimmy Ferguson of San Antonio and one sister Suzanne Allen of Arkansas; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
