William ‘Bill’ Charles Duster, aged 93, passed on January 16, 2019 in his home in Littleton, CO. Bill was born on November 17, 1925, in Cedar Rapids, IA, to Charles H. and Cleo C. Duster, the second of four children. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in May 1943 and was called to active duty July 1st, 1943 following graduation from Immaculate Conception High School in Cedar Rapids, IA. He served 39 months in active duty continuing into inactive status until honorably discharged in February, 1955 as a Lieutenant Junior Grade.

Bill attended the University of Iowa where he met and married Margaret Patricia Morrissey and had five beloved children. Upon graduation in 1948, Bill began a career with General Electric (later Honeywell) that took him and his family throughout the Midwest. Tragically, he was preceded in death first by son, Charles in 1962 and by wife, Margaret in 1970.

Bill met his second wife Audrey Mary Farrell in Minneapolis, MN and they were married there in October, 1973. Bill eventually landed in Littleton, CO and retired from Honeywell as Corporate VP of Honeywell, Inc. in 1986. Shortly after, Bill accepted a position at University of Colorado at Denver teaching marketing and sales from 1987-1993.
