William “Bill” Arthur Robinson, 76, of Moberly, died Monday, August 8, 2016, at his home. Bill was born November 25, 1940 in Huntsville, MO, to Otis and Lou Ella (Tolson) Robinson.
He served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy. Prior to retirement he was a brakeman for Norfolk and Southern Railroad, and was the maintenance man for Citizens Savings Bank in Moberly.
Bill married Vonciel Heard on July 19, 1964 in Moberly and she survives. Also surviving are children, Anthony Robinson of Mississippi, Alisa Robinson, Marva Conner, and Tiffany Meachum all of Columbia; grandchildren Durrender Sanders, Ari Harris, Precrecia Gardner, Anthony Robinson, Jr., Darrius Robinson, Mercedes Robinson, Raymond Sanders, Jr., Darriana Wilson, Charles Rooths, Jr., and Juanya Robinson, Jolisa White; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers Otis Leroy Robinson and wife Sandra of Jefferson City, a sister Mary V. Applegate of Rock Island, IL, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and a special friend of the family Karl Robinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Lester Robinson.
