William “Bill” Ardell Lasure, 81 of Wolf Summit passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at United Hospital Center. He was born March 4, 1938 at Lamberts Run, son of the late Homer Ardell and Pansy Powell Lasure. Bill attended Victory High School and worked for Continental Can, Brockway Glass and retired from Anchor Hocking. He was an avid WVU Mountaineer and Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. His hobbies were watching westerns, especially Gunsmoke, camping, swimming and woodworking. He was a forty year member of Stealey Assembly of God and was recently attending Christian Assembly in Nutter Fort. Bill is survived by his wife of fifty six years, Elma Jean Ferrell Lasure whom he married December 9, 1962; two daughters, Cathy Jean Lasure and Debra Ann Lasure of Wolf Summit; two sons, William Thomas Lasure, Thornton, Eric Ardell Lasure, Wolf Summit; four grandchildren, Preston Lasure, Regan Lasure, Cory Shingelton and Evelyn Shingleton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Madeline Ash.
