William (Bill) Anton Campbell, 66, passed away Oct. 11, 2008, at his home in Boise after a two year battle with Multiple Myeloma.
Bill was born March 10, 1942 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Lily M. and Frederick G. Campbell Sr. After graduating from Warren Harding High School in Bridgeport, CT in 1960, he attended the University of Connecticut and earned his degree in Accounting in 1964. A few years later he earned his C.P.A.
After graduation, he married the true love of his life Judith Ann Fray on June 27, 1964. In Connecticut, Bill worked for Price Waterhouse and Saab Scania of America. After transferring to California with Saab in 1974, Bill worked for several technology companies throughout the San Francisco Bay Area before retiring from Moodys/K.M.V. in San Francisco in 2005. Bill and Judy moved to Boise in 2007 to be closer to family.
Bill was a golfer and sailor, and enjoyed traveling the world with his wife.
The family would like to thank Dr. Lisa Law of St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute, for her warmth and compassion during this journey. Also, a special thanks to St. Luke’s Hospice, all the great nurses, and staff at MSTI Boise and Meridian, and the nurses on 4 South -you are all truly amazing.
