William Alan “Bill” Bradley, 82, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 4, 2020, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Bill was born June 15, 1938, in Utica, New York, to Frank S. and Margaret Hazel Lamphear Bradley. He grew up and attended schools in New York state.
Bill served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 with an honorable discharge in 1962.
On September 19, 1959, he married Barbara Brown in Los Angeles, California. Bill and Barbara made their home in Iona, Idaho. Bill was a firefighter for the Idaho Falls Fire Department for 25 years. He was hired August 21, 1967, and served in the capacity as driver, and retired as a Captain on December 28, 1992. He also served as Fire Chief for the Iona Volunteer Fire Department.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years, and also had a small sheep farm that was his pride and joy.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Barbara Bradley of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Billie (Bob) Klingler of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Robert (Carol) Bradley of Newport Beach, CA; 3 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lee Ann Brown; and sister, Suzanne Balasa.
