William B. De War of the Holiday Heights section of Berkeley Twsp. NJ died on April 3, 2013 at Holiday Care Center, Berkeley Twsp. Born in Orange, NJ he lived in Piscataway, NJ before moving to Holiday Heights 22 years ago. He was a World War II veteran serving in the US Navy.

William received his degree in teaching from Fairleigh Dickinson University and then his Masters in Education from Rutgers University. He worked for the FBI and Western Electric before teaching in Bound Brook and in South Plainfield, NJ. After retiring he volunteered for the Holiday Heights First Aid Squad in Berkeley Twsp. Surviving is his loving wife Irene nee Thompson. 4 sons; William G. of Allentown, Pa. David B of Harmony Twsp, NJ, Steven J. of Raritan, NJ and Thomas C. of Jackson, NJ. 1 daughter Kathleen De War of Brielle, NJ. 2 Grandchildren Brian and Kyle.
