William Allen Thompson, Jr. 75 of Indian Head, MD died October 29, 2015 at his residence. Son of the late William and Bertie Thompson, Sr. He was born in Washington, DC on November 9, 1939.
He was a graduate of Northwestern High School class of 1957. He was employed by Pepco as a lineman and retired as an accountant (1958-1994). He enjoyed camping, stamp collecting and coin collecting and being with the Boy Scouts – he was a lifelong scouter.
He was predeceased by his wife Mary Ellen Talley, his brother Charlie Thompson and his sisters Carolyn Ball and Linda Thompson. He is survived by his sons William, Andrew and James Allen, his daughter-in-law Elizabeth and his grandson Alexander Robert, his brother Paul Thompson and sister Joan Harbin.
