William Abner “Monk” Knight, Sr., 90, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2019. He was a native of Alabama and a resident of Washington County, AL. “Monk” was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church for over 75 years. He worked for the state as a Game Warden for 30 years. After retirement, he worked as a game warden for private landowners. Monk was a farmer all his life and he also enjoyed bluegrass music. He was also in a bluegrass group and played the fiddle.
