William (Bill) A. Terrio, Sr., of Peabody, formerly of Billerica, Concord and Waltham, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2017, at the V.A. Hospital in Bedford, MA. Bill was born November 21, 1926, in Waltham, MA, to Marshall and Esther Terrio. He had an older brother, the late Marshall Terrio and a younger sister, Ann Johnson, of Yarmouthport, MA. Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Eileen (Barry) Terrio, to whom he was married for 64 years, and five children: Bill Terrio, Jr., and his wife, Katherine of Seal Beach, CA, Dan Terrio and his wife, Sheryl of Cocoa, FL, Rick Terrio and his wife, Laurie of Townsend, MA, Maureen Spring and her husband, Bill of Kensington, CT., and Paul Terrio of Delray Beach, FL. He leaves six adored grandchildren: Jenna Terrio, Patrick and Bonnie Terrio, Michael and Kimberly Spring, and Sandi Terrio. He also leaves numerous nephews and nieces. Bill was a graduate of St Mary’s High School in Waltham and Boston College. He served in the Navy as a Seabee during World War II and saw action at the Battle of Okinawa.
