William Anthony Teeling, joined the Lord in heaven July 22, 2018, days shy of his 94th birthday, surrounded by prayers, songs and his adoring family.

He was born to the late Thomas Teeling and Elizabeth (O’Malley)Teeling in July of 1924 In Harrison NJ. He is one of seven children. William served in the Navy from 1943-1946 as an Aviation Ordinancemen. He attended Seton Hall University. In June of 1952 he was united in holy matrimony to his sweetheart Arlene Donaldson of North Arlington.

Their union was blessed with 6 children, 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Married for 38 wonderful years, Arlene sadly preceded his death in 1990. William was a devout Catholic, Eucharistic Minister, lover of the Giants, Mets, enjoyed singing show tunes, traveling and most of all cherished his family. He was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church in Berkeley Twsp. William was a founding Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus. William worked in the automobile industry for most of his life, at one point owning Bridgewater Motors, Inc. He had his own radio talk show – “Trader Bill’s Auto Spotlight”. William lived an incredibly passionate, active, and faithful life up until his very last days.

William’s life will be cherished by his children; 4 sons: Bruce Teeling (Kathleen Teeling), William Teeling (Kathy Teeling), Kevin Teeling (Karin Orrico) and Timothy Teeling (Patricia Teeling; 2 daughters: Sharon Clark (Victor Clark)and Lisa Pagano (Guy Pagano) Grandchildren: Todd Kelly, Kevin Teeling Jr., Jessica Puć (Gen Puć) William Teeling Jr.,(Tierney Teeling) Karlee Teeling, Kayla Teeling, Kelly Teeling (Chris Poole) Brian Teeling, Timothy Teeling Jr., (Sarah Teeling) Elizabeth Teeling, ( Joseph Cahill) Michael Teeling, Kaitlyn Teeling, Christopher Kelly, and Olivia Pagano. Great-grand children: Adeline Davis, Noah Davis, Marek Puć, Violet Puć, and Wrenna Teeling, his sister Jean Luciano, and his long time companion ( his lady ) Lucille Iasiello.
