William A Sestak, age 74, of Three Oaks, Michigan passed away December 23, 2015 in St Joseph, Michigan. Bill was born on April 14, 1941 in Lakeside, Michigan the son of William and Myrtle (Bogda) Sestak. Bill’s family moved to Union Pier shortly after he was born. They lived there up to the time of his mother’s passing in 1966. Bill lived his entire life in the Three Oaks area. He attended New Buffalo High School. Bill was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Dominican Republic Conflict.

He was an active member of the Three Oaks American Legion Post #204 and the Rolling Prairie VFW Post #9423. Bill enjoyed hanging out with his friends and fellow veterans. He also enjoyed going to the U.P. for deer camp as well as bowling in his younger years. After Bill retired from the Berrien County Road Commission in 2004, he proudly volunteered as a driver for the River Valley Senior Center. He always liked to lend a hand to those in need.Bill will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his sister Arlene (Sestak) Dickey; his three nephews: Brian, Doug, Richie; his seven nieces: Brenda, Debbie, Donna, DeeDee, Cheryl, Vickie, Sue; as well as many great nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Shirley and Audrey, and his brother Kenneth.
