William “Bill” Allen Haskell age 87, of Danvers, died peacefully at Beverly hospital on August 18, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born in Beverly on May 4, 1927, the son of Francis and Mildred (Parker) Haskell. He graduated Beverly High School then was drafted into the U.S Army to become a World War II veteran. At the end of his military career he was employed by AC Lawrence Leather then moved on to Salem Suede from which he retired. Later, Bill worked as a bus monitor for special needs children.
