Vero Beach, Florida – William A. Exton died on February 5, 2021. He was born on January 29, 1918, in Palmyra, New York to William George and Emma Jane Exton. A resident of Vero Beach since 1979, he enjoyed art, music, bird watching, and dog shows. He was a life-long artist and an art teacher for 38 years, predominantly in Whitesboro, NY. He was an award-winning member of the American Watercolor Society and the US Kerry Blue Terrier Dog Club.
William was preceded in death by his wife Jean Marie Tunney Exton.
He is survived by sons, John Exton and James Exton; his daughters, Mary Hempel and Ellen Exton; his grandchildren, Amy Barnett, Aric Barnett-Lynch, Shaun Exton, Erika Gillette, Jennifer Glavin, James Exton Jr., Zachary Exton, Haley Exton; five great-grandchildren; two special nieces, Linda Nussbaumer and Alice Vienna; and special nephew, Conrad Tunney. Additionally, William leaves behind very close friends Rob Walsh, Roberta McCullough, and Bonnie & George Hubbard.
