William A. Clay, 89, of Bath, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by the love of his family, on Sunday, February 11, 2018. He was the husband of the late Fern (Jacoby) Clay who passed away on December 8, 2016.
Born in Hellertown he was the son of the late Willard and Flossie (Beahm) Clay. Bill worked for the PBNE Railroad at the Bethlehem Steel as a Locomotive Engineer until retiring. He was a member of the American Legion in Hellertown, Northeast Wanders AA, Bethlehem, and a former member of the Smooth Tones. Bill was an avid golfer.
SURVIVORS: He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Cynthia A. Gegeckas and husband Blaise of Palmerton, Barbara J. Kutzera and husband Joseph of Hellertown, Susan L. Borst and husband Michael of Ansonia, CT; grandchildren Michael and Katherine Traupman, Bradley and Brittany Little, Emily and Molly Wean; and great-grandchildren Brynnley and Cooper Traupman. He was preceded in death by his sisters Marie Devlin and Grace Kostic, and brothers Willard, Arthur and Thordan Clay.
