William Alfred “Bill” Crandell, Jr., a resident of Lansing, Michigan, died on July 20, 2024 at the age of 66.Bill was born in Lansing on June 28, 1958, the son of William Alfred Crandell Sr. and Violet Winnie Crandell. He enjoyed working with Peckham, Inc. for many years before his retirement in 2018.Bill loved sports of all kinds, especially Michigan State University games. He loved his church in Eaton Rapids and his home at Moore Living Connection. Family was important to him, and he was proud to be Uncle Bill to many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Glen Leroy Randall and Paul Randall, nephew, Buddy Anderson, niece, Paula Bell, great nephews, Alex Anderson and Evan Cornell, and great niece, Emma Cornell.He is survived by his sister, Betty Anderson, his nieces, Diana (Kevin) Cornell, Annette (Darrin) Huntoon, and Charmin Goughler; nephew, Blue Randall; great nephews, Paul Anderson, Zachery Anderson, Shane Briles, Austin Briles, Nate Cornell, and Mathias Hunter Jorgensen; great great nieces, Evee Anderson, Sara Jean, Dani Bell, and T.K. Randall; great great nephew, Blue Randall, Jr.; his aunt, Alice Harwood; cousins, Brenda Thocker, Stevie Harwood, John Harwood, Cindy Harwood, Heather Dimick, and the extended Winnie and Crandell families.
