Behrendt, William A.
On November 18, 2014, William “Bill” Behrendt, Brooklyn Park resident, passed away at age 79. Born March 13, 1935 in Baltimore, he was son of the late William and Orma Behrendt. He was a 1955 Glen Burnie High graduate, U.S. Army Veteran and retiree of Bethlehem Steel where he had worked as an electrician. Mr. Behrendt enjoyed farming, gardening, traveling and dancing, and was a member Glen Burnie Moose and was a Moose Legionaire, Stoney Creek Seniors and also Stoney Creek, Roland Terrace and Lake Shore Democratic Clubs.
Bill was a devoted companion to Geri Kessler; beloved husband of the late Ida (nee Ulakowski); dear brother of Karl Behrendt, Orma Williams and Sharon Sanner. He was blessed with many nieces and nephews and a loving extended family.
