Willard LeeVern Ford, born to Clyde and Ida Ford, lived a full life and long enough to celebrate his 75th wedding anniversary with his dancing partner, June Fullerton Ford. Married March 8, 1941. Their home was in the western states, anywhere there was a construction job or a hydroelectric dam being built: Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, New Mexico, and California. His claim to fame was being the very best CAT skinner, truck driver (18-wheelers), and heavy equipment operator; skills learned as a member of “The Fighting Seabees” during WWII on Okinawa before being shipped to Japan.
Willard and June had their children, Ed and Pat, with them on any adventure that came their way.
Brian Ford (grandson) stated that June and Willard stand as a bright example for future generations to come!
