He was born September 7, 1913 in Anderson, Indiana, and a resident of this area since 1937. He had worked at Delco Remy Division of General Motors, Pierce Governor and had owned Harless filling station.
He served his country in the US Army during WWII in the European Theater. He attended Bethany Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife whom he married on January 1, 1939, Nellie M. Foland Harless; two brothers, Clarence & wife Marabelle Harless of Pendleton and Theodore & wife Dorothy Harless of Anderson; a sister, Lela & husband Robert Remington of Hamnet, California; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his parents, Charles W. & Vada Moore Harless and a brother, William L. Harless.
