Wilhelmina M. Barrera, 74, entered the Lord’s heavenly kingdom on Sunday morning, February 11, 2018 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on April 14, 1943 in Harlingen, Texas to Guillermo Sanchez & Maria Cabrerra Sanchez.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Carmen Gonzalez, Aurelio Mora, Rosalinda Sanchez, Wilberto Sanchez, Wilmira “Millie” Jasso, & Francisco Sanchez.
Wilhelmina is survived by her loving family to cherish her wonderful memory, children, Sylvia Palafox, Romeo (Mary) Barrera, Belinda Barrera, Mariselda (Rene) Garcia, Yvonne (Coy) Kelley, Yvette Barrera, Juliet (Ben+) Barrera, & Dean Edward (Ruby) Barrera; 26 grandchildren & 33 great grandchildren; sister, Wilda Cantu; brother, Guillermo Sanchez, Jr.; and numerous nieces & nephews.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. James Castillo, Bill Brisky from Kindred Hospice & staff for their excellent care.
