Wilfredo Lebron Perez, better known as “Willie” Lebron, has gone on to be with the Lord. Willie was born in the Pasto Viejo community of Humacao, Puerto Rico. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Willie had full faith and confidence in this time, in which he would enjoy the Lord’s presence in glory.
Willie was a master carpenter, who was proud to follow in the footsteps of his Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Perhaps Pastor Tedd Manning summed up his cordiality best: “Willie never met a stranger.” Indeed, Willie was a light and a living example of John 13:35, “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” His joy was pure, and contagious.
The Ellicott City community will have a hole in their fabric, as Willie was the consummate neighbor, always willing to lend a hand, a good word, and his unbeatable smile. Willie treasured time with his family, and when he could get away from his many handyman projects, he enjoyed time fishing, especially with his grandchildren.
In addition to his family, and close friends at Ellicott City Assembly of God, Willie will also be missed by many close friends in Wisconsin, where he spent nearly 30 years of his life.
Willie is survived by his wife, Jackeline Lebron Corsino; his three lovely daughters, Lisa Cole (Matthew Cole), Dagmar Ruiz (Rudy Ruiz), and Jaclyn Kerney (Shaun Kerney); his grandchildren, Josh Cole, Alina Kerney, Elijah Ruiz, Ezra Ruiz, Shaun Kerney, Jr., Evan Ruiz, and Caroline Cole; and his siblings, Hector “Pito” Lebron, Elba Perez (Miguel Perez), and Noel Lebron.
We pray that Willie’s friends and family will be comforted by the promises of Psalm 23:6: “Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”
