Wilfred Franklin “Frank” Criswell, 82, a native and resident of Jackson, Alabama, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at his home. Frank was the owner of Frank’s Body Shop, Jackson, AL, (now operated by Frank’s son and grandsons) and recently celebrated being in business 50 years. He is also a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean War. Frank, “Buddy”, enjoyed hunting and fishing and planting a vegetable garden. He loved vacations to the mountains.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Ethel McGilberry Criswell as well as other siblings. He is survived by his wife Janelle Jordan Criswell of Jackson, AL; son Robbie (Sherry) Criswell of Jackson, AL; daughters Debbie (Walter Curtis) Rogers of Jackson, AL and Roxie (Robert) Powell of Jackson, AL; brother Bob Ray (Mary Lou) Criswell of Orange Beach, AL; sisters Pat McArthur of Mobile, AL, Janice Stabler of Thomasville, AL, Willie Mac (Joe) Robitable of Mobile, AL, and “Coot” Robinson of Chickasaw, AL; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
