Codrington, Wilfred Uriah Codrington, age 78, of Bridgeport, died December 5, 2005 in St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Mr. Codrington was born in Bronx, N.Y. and was a Bridgeport resident for many years. He was a master welder for International Harvester and US Baird. A WWII Navy veteran, he received the Asiatic Pacific Theatrer Medal, the American Theater Medal and the Victory Medal. He was also an avid fisherman. Survivors include his former wife, Beulah Turner Codrington, five sons, Gregory, Allen, Ricky, Jamesy and his wife, Tracy, Bandy and his wife, Star, two daughters, Robbie and Martie, a brother, Ralston, a sister, Shirley , many grandchildren and great grandchildren,a host of nieces and nephews, and special friend, Margie. He was predeceased by two sons, Billy and Joey.
