R. T. A Native of Walthall County, MS, a resident of Picayune, she was a seamstress and a member of First Baptist Church of Ozona. Mae was also a past matron in the Eastern Star #89. She loved her Lord and going to the nursing home, and senior center. Mae enjoyed painting and being with her family. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie Lee Blansett, Sr. and Mattie Lee Bryant Blansett, her husband, Richard Ray Pierce, 2 sons, Billy James Pierce Sr., and Bennie Ray Pierce; 1 grandchild, David Dewayne Pierce; 5 brothers, Clarence Blansett, D.L. Blansett, Gerald Blansett, Walter Blansett, Kurt Blansett, and Bennie Lee Blansett, Jr.; and 2 sisters, Eddie Rae Netherland, and Francis Neal. Survivors include her 12 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren; her sister, Louise Neal, her daughter in law, Gloria Coates, and her niece, Joyce Mooneyham, whom she shared a special bond, and cared for her often.
